Orangerie in Goehren-Lebbin

Fantastic food! Breakfast as well as dinner. The kitchen director & team understand their trade. Worth a trip for that alone! Keep it up?

I would recommend to choose the buffet. It is full of everything and is freshly prepared. The ox was pink and in a nutshell! The mashed potatoes and some other side dishes very good. Unfortunately, the salmon was a little too fried and completely gone through, as were cauliflower and broccoli. The service was very good, the atmosphere and for a price of 39 euros you can not complain about the offered ingredients.

We stayed in the castle for four nights in May 2018. On the first evening we were seated in a friendly manner in the orangery, unfortunately we had to draw our attention after 15 minutes because we were not served. The bottle of wine was also 10 minutes away. The menu on the Internet is unfortunately not the reality. We only had a small selection with only one starter. Buffet hadn't spoken to us. Asparagus was good, veal schnitzel came from the deep fryer in my opinion. On the second evening we started a second attempt, which we then quickly stopped. The waiter informed us dispassionately that today only the buffet would be available because a cook was sick. We then drove to the neighboring town and ate an excellent beef fillet at the Italian restaurant and were very well served. Orangery never again!
